Decarbonizing America’s Heavy-Duty Diesel Engines

To meet the emissions reduction goals of the Paris Climate Accord, as well as to meet California, New York, and other state commitments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 80 percent by 2050, we need to achieve significant carbon reductions in the next decade. We must explore multiple pathways for decarbonization, in parallel, and utilize new technologies in the applications where they make the most environmental, economic, operational, and business sense.
